I've been doing this quiz for a few years (not sure how long) now, and I still love it.

Keeps me sharp. LOL

Some days I have a couple minutes left and others only a few seconds. LOL Some times my mind will blank out on one (usually in Oceana) and other times, like late at night, my typing is bad, bad, bad.

Once you learn the capitals, it's the best way to retain the info.

Burundi's capital is now Gitega. Also, you might (or might not) want to change 'Astana' to 'Nur-Sultan' (the new name) and 'Macedonia' to 'North Macedonia'.

Colombo is not the capital of Sri Lanka, but Sri *insert long word here* Kotte.

Both Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte and Colombo are capitals of Sri Lanka. Take Bolivia or The Netherlands (though some people do not say The Hague as the capital) for example, they have 2 capitals.

Great quiz! Looked at the least-guessed capitals as I liked to do and I'm really curious about why the distribution looks as it does. The most-guessed capitals are for countries from the start of the alphabet, while the last-guessed ones are for countries from the end of the alphabet (e.g. Venezuela, Zambia, etc...). Given that it's a random order, I wonder if people are memorizing capitals-to-countries alphabetically and going through them in that order and running out of time 🤔
