Based on the year of publication and the author, can you name these books with one-word titles? I already made a quiz of one-syllable titles, so these have more than one syllable!
Such a shame the literary quizzes seem not to get many nominations. I found the later books tricky so a good mix of hard and easy. Thanks, will try the one-syllable ones now.
There are actually a lot of one-word multi-syllable novel titles by Stephen King besides these two: Cujo, Christine, Insomnia, Dreamcatcher, etc. Tried several before getting the two you happened to list.
Candide's full title is Candide, ou l'Optimisme.
Frankenstein's full title is Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus
Utopia's full title is various long Latin phrases
Middlemarch, A Study of Provincial Life
etc....
Maybe add a note that these books are all known by one word?
