Funny that you give credit for "Marcia". I wouldn't have got it otherwise.

I spelt it "Marsha" and got it right. Everyone who remembers the '70's remembers marsha, but not many know the actress

I scrolled down with 15/16 and then aw crap...put in Marsha sarcastically.

You also get credit for "Brady" apparently. I wouldn't have got it otherwise, wouldn't have remembered Marcia either.

D'oh! I didn't even try "Marcia" or "Brady" – I didn't think it would be accepted! The kicker is, I came up with "Eve Plumb" (Jan) and "Susan Olson" (Cindy) right off the top of my head (yeah but WHY?), but simply could not come up with poor Maureen's name.

17/18. Being a child of the 70s helps, but do think I could get Vonnegut? Grrr.

Rodney Dangerfield was a comedian, famous for talking about how he couldn't get any respect. Johnny Carson hosted The Tonight Show (the one Jimmy Fallon hosts now) for decades.

It‘s strange to see which shows make it overseas and which don‘t. Generalization alert: everyone in Germany has at least heard of Columbo, Dallas, The Cosby Show, and Bonanza, while no one knows Happy Days, The Brady Bunch, and All in the Family (we have our own version of that though).

I guessed David Cassidy, too! This was clearly before Mark Hamill had his accident (difference seen between SW & Empire) that really changed the structure of his face in its repair. In particular, his nose looked *really* different.

I guessed David Cassidy until I enlarged it. Thank goodness for that option otherwise I would have been wondering why Cassidy wasn't being accepted.

Khomeini's first name was Ruhollah. "Ayatollah" is a title like "President" or "Pope", though given the western media's eagerness to use his title, and not his name, it's probably not surprising many people think it's his name.

Surprised that Mark Hamill is the least guessed person, since he seems the most obvious to me. Then again I wasn't alive in the 70s, so I found most of this quiz challenging.

Even knowing that it's him, it doesn't look like him to me. The cowboy hat plus being before his accident that changed his features really threw me off.
