I finally understand why Cleveland's team on the sport's episode was called the Cuba Gooding Juniors in family guy though. Had no idea that was a person
It's almost like some of these people are famous for their talents, not their looks. Not to mention that a few of them -- Julia Roberts and Jennifer Love Hewitt, in particular -- are absolute stunners.
I seem less in touch with the cultural zeitgeist with each passing decade. Did better on 90s than 00s and better on 00s than 10s. Whilst I suppose that happens with nost people I feel I'm too young for it to be a thing yet.
Why ? Perhaps only not rupaul the rest were famous the world over. 6 months ago I wouldnt have recognised rupaul, but his show is airing here now and i ve been bingewatching it haha. I had heard of the name earlier (though dont think allready in the 90s, pretty sure...) but never had a face to go with it
Btw the is the least logical/true statement of "only if you are an american" on here. Sometimes it is definitely legit, sometime it is just partly true. But here i really cant even think of why you would say that. If you didnt own a television, that could explain not knowing them.
hewson should be accepted. i really like to score a 100%, but i will NOT use this stupid, pretentious, over-the-top, self given, sorry ass, and let's not forget pretentious excuse of a pseudonym anymore
If you knew his real name, you obviously knew his stage name. That's like saying you won't say John Wayne because his real name was Marion Morrison? You don't deserve a 100%.
99% of the time I take this position too, but ruudsje's point in in this instance seems to be that he doesn't want to indulge this guy by using a nickname he gave himself that means "Good Voice" (he shortened "Bono Vox" to just "Bono"). I'm not sure I agree, but Bono is definitely pretentious and self-absorbed. I do think there is a difference between not using John Wayne's stage name just because you want to show off vs. not using Bono's stage name because it is egotistical and ridiculous.
You must ve been born recently, most if these names are still relevant (and some names will allways be a thing even if they are not in the public eye anymore)
...but the character of RuPaul is a woman. If you're talking about the real person playing the character RuPaul, then the quiz would feature his real name.
I honestly agree. That picture looks almost nothing like RuPaul aside from the fact that she owned and regularly wore those same earrings in the 90s. And yes, RuPaul Charles is a man, but typically when someone is in drag, as Ru is in that picture, they are referred to as "she," because they're presenting as a woman
The 90xs were so awesome.
and this goes for stink too.
hah!
