It wouldn't take Oconnor for Sinead. I had to put in her full name.

I love that spelling. Like, I'm fairly certain that was an error on the band's part, and it adds to the mystique. To the undying, boundless mystique of everyone's favorite band, period, Ace of Base.

I don't believe it was an error. Bass is a very different sounding word in connection to Ace. Base has a much better flow.

It was originally Ace of Salmon, but there was a trademark dispute.

60s is my time, too...I was a teenager then. But I still got 16/20. Somehow, I assimilated this stuff.

Only missed Vanilla Ice. I'd say that it was selective memory blocking out the painful parts, but then, I'd have to account for how I remembered Britney Spears, Hanson, Ace of Base, and most of the rest of this quiz.

You remember Hanson because they're awesome (and still thriving as independent musicians to this day). Also, how can anyone not know all the words to Ice, Ice Baby? It's possibly the worst song to ever exist. It's so bad, it's almost made it right back around to good again.

pretty sure that's not why I remember Hanson. I still know some of the words to Ice Ice Baby but I was in 5th grade when that song came out.

One of their greatest songs is "Smack My B***h Up," which was awarded some king of music award or something at some point. Memory is hazy.

They had one famous album The Fat of the Land then kind of faded away. Firestarter was their most popular song in the US and I think the UK, as well. Breathe was, for my money, their best.

If you ever saw the movie Hackers (starring a pretty young Angelina Jolie), there was a fair amount of Prodigy music in that.

I am sadly, not 'gangsta' enough to properly answer the Coolio question. :( I was trying every variant of "Gangster's Paradise" that I could think of, including adding in the previous line from the song. Ho hum.
