I've seen her in a few things. I think the first thing I saw her in was Scott Pilgrim Conquers the World. and then I think Up in the Air. and several other things since then.
In the real world, she is easily a 9. By Hollywood standards, a little lower, but she's also got that girl-next-door-hey-maybe-on-my-best-day-she'd-agree-to-go-out-with-me vibe going too.
Of all the decades, this is the one I've done the worst in this type of quiz. Stop going to the movies and unplug from cable and you no longer know the who's who. It's very refreshing.
Michael Fassbender has such a forgettable face. I had to google him; I then realized I'd seen quite a few movies he's in and still couldn't pick him out of a line up to save my life.
If you've seen Prometheus, X-Men: First Class / Days of Future Past / Apocalypse, 12 Years a Slave, Inglourious Basterds, or even 300 at least once, you should be able to recognize him.
I got them all but Fassbender. He looks like a lot of other actors but couldn't place him. I've seen a few of his movies but his face is just not memorable.
I have no idea who he is, but how many plastic surgeries has Benedict Cumberbatch had (if that's really his name)? His face literally appears to be made out of plastic!
It's not always looks that attract women. Sometimes it's the air of confidence, the voice, intelligence, quirkiness, kindness, humor, or uniqueness. (And fame and money never hurt.)
I liked her in The Greatest Showman and liked that movie a lot, too. She had a somewhat forgettable supporting role in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Aside from that I'd probably have no idea who she was, but I think that she's popular with the kids who watch the Disney Channel.
As I mentioned above, Parks and Recreation (Aziz Ansari, Chris Pratt) is great. I knew Zendaya from the most recent Spider-Man movie, but I couldn't quite get the name right--tried a bunch of variations on something like "Zelmaya."
Aziz Ansari is one of the most popular comedians working right now. He was on Parks & Rec (NBC comedy) for seven years, and had an acclaimed Netflix comedy, Master of None, that ran for two or three seasons. He also has some very successful standup specials. The most recent one was filmed when he did a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. His material focuses mostly on the weird nature of online dating, changing gender norms, technology, etc., etc. It's very millennial, so if you're not in that demographic, you probably wouldn't know him, but if you are in that demographic, he is near impossible to avoid.
TIL that I still have Amy Adams, Pohler, and Schumer confused. Also that I had no clue that Michael Phelps was that handsome fellow; I figured that he was just some soccer guy and skipped him.
Pretty easy quiz. Then again, I'm young, and most of the people on this site seem to be old people who hate anything and everything relating to modern popular culture.
I also have no idea who Zendaya is.
