it was the last one i managed to get. i think the shrek reference in a previous clue threw me off. but i had the first and last letter, so i was making strange animal noises, going "y .... a" " yyyyy ..aaaaa" till it eventually hit me
And wow, after a long absence I'm back on the site, apparently I was still here in august. Feels like years... years I wish I could forget... ( and nothing to do with current events). Maybe rediscovering this site will help a bit..
Clicked through them all, until I had to spend a full minute wondering how what you see before you die (light at the end of the tunnel, of course) could possibly fit into r--g. A-Duh.
Only missed 4, okay with missing Iran, sari, Milk and Ring, don;t watch Bollywood, never heard of Milk, never seen Hurt Locker. Just didn't think of ring.
Easiest quiz I've taken in a while. After failing miserably on a geography quiz, I needed this 100%. Quick ego boost. Now only if my brain would hold on to important stuff instead of pointless crap!
I found it very surprising that The Ring is the least guessed one. Wasn't that pretty huge when it came out? I don't even like horror movies and I knew that one instantly.
That was the one I missed. I can't remember if I have seen the film, but think I have. I'd say "See the ring and die". not "Before you die you see the ring" as that is not causal enough. Before you did you see the white light? See the ring before you die is more like a bucket list option which can be avoided.
I agree I found the phrasing odd even though I got the answer (though more through what would fit r..g). I would ve said something like you die after watching this.
didn't know it was the tagline, that would explain the phrasing
Oh hey, don't get me wrong, I love all those movies. It just seems weird to dismiss a series of 3-hour-long PG-13 movies that were aimed at teens to adults and includes a Best Picture Oscar winner as a "children's film" while not saying anything about the several G/PG movies that were explicitly aimed at kids.
Hmm, I'm not convinced by "teens to adults", but still ...
Every time it's a question about a children's film that gets me, even though I might know the answers to all the other questions about children's films, on account of my having a five-year-old daughter and having once been a child myself! Mordor mountain indeed.

Didn't help that I forgot The Ring was a film.
