It absolutely is. Lord Darlington says it, in Act III, although it's phrased as the answer to "What is a cynic?" "A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." So Wilde didn't say it in quite the way it's presented here.

The word terrorism, when used correctly, is a description of a tactic. It is not a value judgment. Some freedom fighters might use the tactic of terrorism. Others might be better than that. I've heard the idiom before, it's just a stupid idiom.

Although in general Jessica Simpson's words are not deserving of preservation for posterity, nor is the quote profound or even noteworthy as written, but the video footage of the scene (complete with her then-husband's absolutely stupefied expression), is such an epic example of human idiocy that it really deserves its place in the annals of history.

Technically, Forrest Gump said "My momma always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.' " The reason I point that out is because of all the Mandela Effect stuff going around about whether it was "is" or "was."

I think the Dr. King quote is a bit mangled. He said "...they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." I know the quiz says some quotes are paraphrased, but the original quote is so poetically phrased, I think it deserves to be presented verbatim.

Never understood the Forrest gump quote ,in Ireland and the UK boxes of chocolates have a picture/written description of each type of chocolate usually printed under the lid. is this not done in USA ?.

The old-fashioned boxes didn't. You'd open the top, and there would be like 20 little chocolates of varying shapes and colors in the box. You couldn't tell until eating what the chocolate would taste like and whether there was anything (nuts, fruit, etc.) inside. They are still popular gifts at Valentine's Day.
