Strategy seems to be skip to get all you know and then go back to ones you aren't sure of given you've narrowed down the possibilities. Going in order seems not to be the way to go.

I got Spanish Fork, one of the most-missed here, simply because I ran out of ones I knew and started typing "Utah" into every field because it was the shortest state left and thus the easiest to type over and over. This quiz was tougher than I thought it would be. Missed Nantucket I guess because I spelled Mass. wrong...

This is a very good quiz. However, may i have a suggestion for the quizmaster (aand I suspect that many non-Americans will agree with me)? I appreciate that this pages are probably run by Americans and that many of the users will be American, but on the other hand, they are open to everybody and thus are placed into international, not American context. For many of your users, the word "state" when used on its own, does NOT mean US state. Of course, we understand what you mean, but it would be nice and respectful to state in the instructions that you mean member states of the USA.

The Hick from French Lick. Some hick. Only person ever to win player of the year, coach of the year and executive of the year. Quite a 3some. I guess Isaiah Thomas or Michael Jordan can't claim that.

I dunno. That would mean that of 10 people, 1.4 would've heard about it. For me, I'd say that about 4-tenths of me has heard about Spanish Fork, UT. So if I was in that group, you'd only need 1 person to have heard of it. Sounds about right.

1:49 remaining; I thought it was pretty easy, there were a few I didn't know but just came back to those. I think the quiz maker did a nice job of using memorable names that people might remember rather than some non-descript name no could differentiate from state to state, e.g. Springfield or Greenville or names like that.

49 out of 50 probably just ran out of time. Surprisingly there is a Gillette in Wisconsin also. Although they pronounce it Jill-it instead of the usual way like the razor cimpany. It was funny that someone else got Joliet because of the Blues Brothers😁 "It's dark out we're wearing sunglasses and we've got a full tank of gas. Four fried chickens and a coke" Haha! Great movie. Fun quiz, too!
