This is a very good quiz. However, may i have a suggestion for the quizmaster (aand I suspect that many non-Americans will agree with me)? I appreciate that this pages are probably run by Americans and that many of the users will be American, but on the other hand, they are open to everybody and thus are placed into international, not American context. For many of your users, the word "state" when used on its own, does NOT mean US state. Of course, we understand what you mean, but it would be nice and respectful to state in the instructions that you mean member states of the USA.

So many non-US quiz takers complain about the US-centric questions not realizing this is really a US-based site. However your suggestion makes complete sense. I agree, that if states are mentioned, it would make sense to specify if it is in the United States.

1:49 remaining; I thought it was pretty easy, there were a few I didn't know but just came back to those. I think the quiz maker did a nice job of using memorable names that people might remember rather than some non-descript name no could differentiate from state to state, e.g. Springfield or Greenville or names like that.

What do you get out of taking a quiz when you know you've just cheated? I will never understand people on here that do this. Like, what is the point? This isn't school. You're grades and future don't depend on these quizzes lol. You're just cheating yourself out of knowledge and ruining the accuracy of the percentages on the site.

Anyone else surprised by "Chevy Chase" at first? I was, so I looked it up and it turns out it was not named after the comedian, but was rather the name of a land patent ("Cheivy Chace"). Pretty darn weird coincidence that the town happens to share its name with him though :)

It's not a coincidence, at least not the way you are thinking. Both the city and the comedian got the name from an old English ballad.

There should be a tighter time limit to prevent cheats like me who get 37/50 legitimately and then Crtl-C Crtl-V spam the other states. Its too easy, especially with all the remaining states to guess on the right hand side.
