This needs to be updated. The new Boeing Dreamliner is the largest.

No, the Dreamliner carries fewer passengers than the old 747s (up to 330 vs 400-600+).

The question is just poorly worded, really. The 747 has the highest seating capacity, but the 787 has a wider wingspan, and some versions of the 777 are longer.

Yeah i agree with stubblyhead, i was thinking the 777 or 787.

Yeah, another who tried 777 because it is bigger. Question could be worded better

555 isn't the area code, it's the prefix. The 555 area code is actually a real one that's reserved for directory assistance applications.

Or the exchange. And you ought to accept KL5 for that as well.

But the answers are numbers, so KL5 shouldn't work. :D

The quiz was updated, so "prefix" should be updated too, please. It's not the area code.

This would also be a good place for "Wilson Pickett's phone number" = 634-5789. Of course only us boomer geezers would remember that. (Not to be confused with "Beechwood 4-5789" by the Marvelettes.)

For the sake of completeness, and the fact you are allowing 'numbers' which have multiple parts (e.g. 50-50, 11:11) then the largest Boeing airliner is the 747-8.

I don't know if Trivia people know this about H.A.L. but if you advance one letter of each initial you get I.B.M.

Why is 11:11 time to make a wish? And what is "leet" (and why would i know hacker speak)? Someone save me using Google.

11:11, because it's the only time of day where all digits are the same, and leet looks like 1337 (roughly)

Thanks, though i'm still none the wiser. Surely on a 24 hour clock the digits are all the same at 22.22? Besides, why when all the digits are the same is it a reason to make a wish? "Leet looks like 1337". Ehh and what is the significance of the word or the numbers?

"leet" was a new one for me too. from Wikipedia: "Leet (or "1337"), also known as eleet or leetspeak, is an alternative alphabet...used primarily on the Internet. It uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace Latinate letters. For example, leet spellings of the word leet include 1337 and l33t..." It's something similar to typing "0.7734" into a calculator and turning it upside down to read it, but it has guidelines for morphology, grammar, vocabulary, etc.

Actually, Bradbury wasn't referring to book's burning temperature, which is much lower (it's whenever you can build a fire). He was referring to the point at which it spontaneously combusts, which is 451 degrees.

It's surprising so few know leet these days. 15-20 years ago I would've said most of those who made it onto the internet would know what it was about. In chats at least.
