The answer for soccer should be "soccer ball". Soccer is the American name for the sport, and nowhere here in America do we call it a football unless the game in question is American football.
The answer should be football. That's what it's called in most countries. If you don't like it, get over it. Just because something isn't American doesn't mean it's wrong.
Runnerinthecreek is correct. However, it is worth noting that the opposite is also true: Just because something IS American, that likewise doesn't make it wrong.
Anyone else completely tripped up by "ball and socket"? "Type of joint" got me thinking medical terms. There's a lot of things that are called ball and socket that aren't your shoulder.
if you had ever had what is usually referred to as a Frozen Shoulder you would be painfully aware of that one......not being able to lift the extended arm above the horizontal could have had serious repercussions in Germany at a certain period
"White ball"? You're kidding, right? You're not 4; you should be able to handle the blow to your ego if you don't actually know the answer to a question, don't ya think? This isn't one of those deals where everyone gets 100% just for participation. Discover that the white ball is called a "cue ball", rejoice that you've learned something new, and head out bravely into the rest of your life! You can do it! :-D
If you want any more answers, you could add the James Bond movie Thunderball, the movie Balls of Fury, the song "Ball of Confusion" by The Temptations, or the ball python.
Also Meatballs don't go with spaghetti, it's totally the wrong shape, although I did get this clue partly thanks to the Super Mario Super Show lol
