Good quiz, thank you. How about "Dodo Bird" for unintelligent person? Could also add "free as a bird," "bird's-eye view," "for the birds," and "kill two birds with one stone."

Why are they called snowbirds?

One story is that the term goes back to a group of people living in Illinois in the 1800s who survived a brutal winter. They began calling themselves Snowbirds and continued to have reunions. Decades later some of them began traveling to Florida in the winter months, continuing their reunions there, and soon the locals were calling anyone who came south for the winter, a snowbird. The opposite is a sunbird, someone who travels north in the summer to escape the heat.

Huh. Never heard of a sunbird before. Then again, I've never lived anywhere where one could be a sunbird.

The "unintelligent person" clue could be improved. In many areas, it's used more to indicate ADD-type personalities, or ditzy/scatterbrained characteristics, rather than simply a lack of intelligence.
