So iPod nano and Ipod shuffle, etc are all considered different products but the different variants of the iphone all are classified under just "iphone"? It's the same with Mac Pro vs Mac mini and Macbook Pro vs Macbook Air, etc.

What about the new iPhone +? doesn't that count as a different product? It comes in the same version as the regular iPhone (e.g. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+).

Never been a fan of Apple and so I don't know and don't really care... but isn't it odd that the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air were introduced before the MacBook? ...also... are they still really selling the iMac? and how dumb is it that they still use the "i" (Internet) designation before so many of their products?
