Due to Coronavirus restrictions crows can't fly direct from PNG or the Solomon Islands to Australia. They must quarantine for two weeks in Vanuatu. So, as the Crow flies, the nearest place to Australia is New Caledonia which is part of France. Therefore New Zealand is the right answer because it's wrong. I hope this clears up the point now.

He also wasn't Serbian. Though don't tell that to a Serb. They put him on their money and name airports after him even though he only ever spent 31 hours in Belgrade, as they've got nobody else apparently to feel proud of. "Ethnically" "Serbian," but born before Serbia existed, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, on land that is today Croatia, Tesla migrated to the United States at an early age, gained US citizenship, which following the dissolution of the Austo-Hungarian Empire was the only citizenship he had until his death in 1943, several decades before Serbia declared independence from Yugoslavia.

Trump was amazed that simple household cleaning products were reported to kill the Covid virus, so he jokingly wondered how can we get that into our veins. Since all the superior people hated Trump so much, they indignantly accused him of wanting to inject bleach into everyone.

+13
Level 84
Dec 4, 2021
There was a press conference where Trump noted that sunlight and bleach kill coronavirus on surfaces and asked whether they could be used to kill the virus inside the body. He never actually mentioned injecting bleach, but injection or ingestion are really the only possible ways to go with the question that he asked.
+15
Level 75
Dec 6, 2021
That's how I remember it too. Disinfectant, not bleach. Not a big difference though. To be sure, I checked a video of the original press conference. Here's what he literally said, responding to a previous speaker: "Then I see the disinfectant, where is knocks it [the virus] out in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning because you see it gets on the lungs and it does a tremendous number [along?], so it'd be interesting to check that, so you're gonna have to use medical doctors, but it sounds interesting to me."

So while he never advised people to inject bleach, he apparently thought injecting disinfectant to treat Covid is an "interesting" idea.

+4
Level 82
Apr 1, 2022
Marcell: fortunately we don't even have to rely on memory because we've got things called video cameras and can go look for ourselves and see that, yes, this is exactly what Trump said. In other words, to paraphrase because the man is not capable of speaking in coherent English sentences, he absolutely was endorsing the injection of bleach into human bodies to kill the coronavirus. Though at least he did throw in, as an afterthought, that perhaps doctors should be involved. That hardly makes the comment less ridiculous. Or vindicates those who would try to smear others pointing out how ridiculous and dangerous it was.

Russia is actual the primary country in which bleach is mined. Once you understand that fact, everything makes sense.
+2
Level 76
Apr 8, 2022
Yeah, this one is just wrong. The fact that he didn't literally, explicitly say "go inject bleach" doesn't mean he didn't say it. Context and implicit meaning are things that exist. At the very least he strongly suggested it could work to cure the virus.
