Maybe it was me, but "Longest continuously inhabited" was unclear to me.

I was thinking of something physical, as a very long capital (in km).

I feel like the hint should contain the word time to make it easier.

You will laugh at how I read this question: "What do you *mean* it doesn't work for most tourists? Because it's too expensive? Well, don't they have youth hostels? Or do you mean it's just so far away that it's hard to get to? It's not nearly as far if you live in the Eastern Hemisphere, though, obviously! Maybe a lot of people don't like the strict laws, like about chewing gum. I mean, it's gotta work for SOME tourists, or it wouldn't be on the list of… oh… OH. You mean the answer, typed in, in this quiz isn't… derp. Um… nevermind! I'll just be backing out of the room now, hiding my face in embarrassment…"

You aren't the only one. I immediately thought that he was referring to the fact that most international travelers to Singapore are business or shipping related and not necessarily tourism. I don't even know if that's true or not. It's just how I envision Singapore. One gigantic port.

Tourism isn't a massive industry in Singapore, but it's definitely big. When I went there, there was a ton of stuff to do, you'll probably have to take a week of nonstop travel to see the best parts. The port is pretty big, but it doesn't take up much space on the island and like me, you may never even have to see it.

The wording of "Height of tallest building" doesn't make sense - that implies you want a number. Should be something like "Location of tallest building" or "Capital with tallest building" ...

Since the answers are all capitals it should be clear that no height is asked.

+2
Level 67

"Most precipitation" contains a superlative - "most" - as do all the other questions. The height question should read something like "Highest building", like how the "Highest mountain" question reads. Not that this is a very urgent matter, but still.

The answers for tallest building change so quickly with all the skyscraper construction in Asia. Lotte World Tower opened in 2017 and would make Seoul the new #1. And CITIC Tower, aka China Zun, will make Beijing the new #2. I think it has topped out but won't be fully completed until later this year.

Level 82

Lotte World Tower is not even close to as tall as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. However... I'm not sure how Kuala Lumpur made the quiz as #2. The Petronas Towers have not been the tallest in the world for a long time. There are about 15 towers taller in Asia, including Lotte World. But I think #2 is currently Shanghai Tower in Shanghai. Seoul is down around #5

Level 82
May 6, 2018
Current #1 and #2 should be Dubai and Shanghai as I said. Seoul and Beijing are pretty far behind. Shanghai will be overtaken this year by Wuhan. Dubai will not be overtaken until 2020 assuming that the Saudis complete the 1 km tall tower under construction currently in Jeddah. Once that happens, then Jeddah will be #1 in Asia and the world, by a comfortable margin, and Dubai will be #2 in Asia and the world, also by a comfortable margin. There are no towers currently under construction that are even close to these two.

^may wish to update, Dan. Dubai and Wuhan will save you from having to update until 2020 and then after that I think you've got at least 10 years before you'd have to update again. The Burj Khalifa is insanely tall.

ohh... yeah... that's right. Not just Asian cities but Asian capital cities. So in that case Seoul is in fact #1. Beijing is #2. China Zun is still under construction but it's already open and taller than the Taipei 101 or Petronas Towers.

Cyprus is considered Europe because it's in the EU and is similar culturally and politically but it is more Asia than Europe due to it being closer to Anatolia and Levant in the middle east than anything in Europe
