Very funny/interesting. Like how people don't hear the train anymore when they live right next to the tracks. Or don''t see the mess in their house anymore because they have gotten used to it. overlooking what is ríght there! I find this very interesting material.
Reminds me of that effect where people miss a guy in a gorilla suit when focussed on another task. This has nothing to do directly with the scenario here, but is also an interesting psychological phenomena :)
TLDR> Interesting how people can get so used to things, they fail to see the obvious. Sorry for the big post :)
(from a guy connected to Melbourne )
Yea, I guess they just like being difficult or something.
On a hippie trail, heads full of zombie
Met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and made me breakfast
And she said...
Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder.
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover
Buying bread from a man in Brussels
6'4" and full of muscles
I said "do ya speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich
And he said...
I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow, and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
Lyin' in a den in Bombay
A slack-jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man "Are you trying to tempt me?
Because I come form the land of plenty."
