I did pretty well, but didn't even get the biggest seller! I've seen it around, but I guess Johnnie Walker is a lot more popular in the states than it is here in the UK.
Johnnie Walker not popular in the states. I figured it was popular in the EU or elsewhere overseas. Crown, Jack and Jim Beam are all far more popular in the states; to be honest I've never even seen anybody buy or drink Johnnie Walker and I've lived in several different states.
I've seen Johnnie Walker in a few high-end liquor stores in the USA but Jack Daniels is everywhere here. I thought Johnnie would be more popular in the UK since it is a Scottish brand. Now that I live in Kentucky, Kentucky Bourbon is the local drink of choice followed closely by moonshine. Don't laugh some of it is amazingly good.
I guess Grey Goose has surpassed Stolichnaya? - "Stoli" used to be the rave in New York, Cote d'Azure, Buenos Aires and the Bahamas some years ago. I felt like a total hick ordering my "Johnnie Red" and Coke (but I did, nonetheless).
Scots, Canadian and Japanese don't include an 'e'.
