I am from Mass, taking this quiz in one of these cities, and I've lived in another. How did I only get 17/20?

Same. Nobody ever looks at a map of Massachusetts so basically most people will be really confused.

I only got a bunch of them because I grew up in NH and we went to Mass all the time.

This is the first Springfield in the U.S., and the second most populated just a few thousand behind Springfield, MO.

Is that why he's called Quincy Adams? The 6th US president that is.

It is named after John Quincy, Abigail Adams grandfather, and JQA was named after him as well. The city was named Quincy after JQA was born.

Damn. I forgot so many, and I lived in and around Boston for five years. I honestly didn't know Somerville was its own city. I thought it was just a neighborhood. Ditto for Brookline (but I guessed it anyway because I lived there). Can't believe I forgot Framingham, Newton, and Lowell. It's been a long time...

Boston, Cambridge ... Springfield a good guess for any state ... then resorted to speculatively typing places in the west of England - got me Worcester and Taunton. Happy with 25% :-). Should have got Brookline from the 1999 debacle.
