I love how this quiz accepts ‘Philly’ as an answer.

All the quizzes accept "Philly" for Philadelphia! Quizmaster also usually accepts "NYC" and "DC".

Pittsburgh native here. The fact that Bethel Park is considered a city is hilarious to me. I've also never even heard of Plum.

That makes me feel better. Philly/suburbs native here. I guess all but the three Pittsburgh adjacent cities.

Please um is a huge piece of land just east of Pittsburgh. Signs for Plum exits everywhere near the freeway junctions.

I was born in Bethel and I also find it hilarious that its considered a "city" its a borough to everyone that lives here XD

Looks like it's dropped out of the list now, but I'm originally from Plum Borough. It's definitely a suburb - there's no such thing as "downtown Plum". But it is a huge 29-square-mile tract of land - the second biggest borough in the state of PA. Famous Plum expatriates (besides myself) include founder of the Boy Scouts of America William Boyce, 11-year NHL veteran RJ Umberger, former WWE wrestler Elias, and former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee. I don't think I'll be moving back just to get it back into the list again, but I hope we'll be hearing no more of this "never heard of Plum" talk.

I've actually heard people discuss Plum and seen signs for it numerous times since making that comment. Maybe it's gaining popularity for some reason.

Yuck. I live near Norristown but didn’t get it. Guessed lots of other wrong suburbs like King of Prussia instead.

I usually find the small "bedroom towns" around a major metropolis the most difficult, because it's rare to hear them mentioned by name. It's much more common for someone to say "I'm from just outside Pittsburgh," rather than "I'm from Monroeville," or "I'm from Bethel Park." The exceptions, of course, are locals talking to other locals who know enough to have a mental picture of where those places are.

Got 19 of 20. I'm from Johnstown which just misses this list. Would move up into the top 10 if we would just consolidate all the little boroughs and townships that have a Johnstown mailing address and cut into the logical city boundaries. Stupid local politics.
