I love how this quiz accepts ‘Philly’ as an answer.

All the quizzes accept "Philly" for Philadelphia! Quizmaster also usually accepts "NYC" and "DC".

Not only that, they are next to each other, both in location and population.

Gettysburg?? I visited it 2 or 3 years ago and it was a tiny town, barely 5000 people, surrounded by the fields where the Civil War blazed 150 years ago. I can't believe the "metro area" just stretches out for miles in every direction, until you've covered enough farms to get you to 100,000 people.

As I suspected - that 102,000 figure is the population of the entire Adams County, which is mostly rural countryside.

Yeah, I know. Blame the census bureau.

To make it sound more official they call it a "micropolitan statistical area". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gettysburg,_PA_Micropolitan_Statistical_Area

Why doesn't the green dot come up when you type in Chambersburg?

Chambersburg still isn't working - at the end of the quiz, only 19 dots appear (although 20 in the answer list).

While using metro areas for larger scale population quizzes makes some sense, at the scale this quiz is at really blows some cities' population out of proportion.

I got 2, and that's only because I watched The Office.

Uh, Gettysburg has a population of about 7000. You listed the population for Adams County.

I always get mixed up with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. Why did they have to name everything with a P? Also it's kind of odd that Pittsburgh has an h at the end but Harrisburg does not

I'm 90% sure the only reason I got Sunbury was because I literally live 15 minutes away.

Perhaps accept Stroudsburg for East Stroudsburg? I figured the former would be the center of the micropolitan area just because of its name.

I'm kind of surprised Williamsport was so often missed. It's the home of Little League baseball, and the LL World Series is in South Williamsport.

Gettysburg had a population around 7600 in 2016. Your total is for the Adams County as a whole.

Got the top 5, Gettysburg, and New Castle where I have family. Are Gettysburg and New Castle really bigger than Wilkes-Barre?
