I was there for the first time this year. I was so used to it being said "COPE - en - hage - en" and they're all like "Koo - bin - AUn". Learned fast!

Nuuk is in Greenland, which is kind of the major city, and it only has about 50,000 people.

I always thought Godthåb sounded like a cheesy 80s or 90s dirtbag band. Nuuk is a nice name for a pacifier.

Interesting quiz. In sheer population of the municipality, Oulu exceeds Turku. Also, Helsinki urban area consists of Espoo and Vantaa, the former of which outranks even Tampere and the latter outranks both Oulu and Turku. But of course, none of that is relevant in the context of this quiz.

It wouldn't have even occurred to me to think that Elan or Kontio would be trying to brag in their comments here. Never. And reading them again they don't seem like bragging at all. But recently (and all the time) I get people accusing me of bragging when I post something similar. Reading the comments today and seeing Elan's and Kontio's at this moment in that context, I'm just left to wonder, wth is wrong with these people? I still can't even make myself see it that way. How messed up do you have to be to read something as innocuous as what's posted immediately above this comment and have your first thought be something like "oh damn. That guy thinks he's better than me! Need to take him down a peg!" SMH..

Your comments are consistently the most antagonistic on the website, maybe that's why no one wants to give you benefit of the doubt.

I like the name Uppsala for a town, where I live sometimes people will say "oopsala" for "oops", especially if like a little kid falls, so the name makes me think of "Oops(ala), I guess we have a town now"
