Some impressively obscure teams there. Enjoyed that.

I'm guessing you're not English, none of these sides are obscure here, they just don't play in the premier league and hence don't get international exposure.

Maybe you could accept "Glasgow Rangers" for "Rangers".

should have got brighton, as I can confirm there are a very large number of seagulls there. Now I see the answer, the bull one does make sense.

I notice that the only non English Clubs (as in play in don't play in the English Leagues, I know Cardiff are technically Welsh) are Rangers and Celtic, maybe add in a few more teams, add in a Welsh Side and maybe even Northern Ireland and Ireland because they're part of the British Isles?

The term "British" refers to Great Britain not British Isles...so the quiz is correct in only including teams that are from GB, which are English, Scottish or Welsh teams

Except you’re wrong. “British” is now commonly used to refer to something from the UK.

Even in the example you give, when used in the phrase “British Isles” then the word “British” clearly can’t be referring just to the island of Great Britain, can it?

Maybe just "Sheffield" could be accepted? Was stuck on that one for a long time before I tried adding United.

Wouldn't be fair on Sheffield Wednesday. Other abbreviations such as sheffu, sheffutd, or even once you type sheffieldu maybe, but not just Sheffield.

Fun fact: 8 of these are in London. (One of these is debatable but I think it counts!)

How are Port Vale guessed by 28% of people but

Scunthorpe guessed by 35% of people when

Scunthorpe are in National league north which is 3 divisions lower than Port Vale who are in league 1????

Scunny evaded me as well - the colours and the word “iron” made me think of West Ham (who should probably also be included in this quiz because a) the club logo is really cool and b) we simply rule!

I can absolutely confirm that Cardiff are a Welsh side that play in English league.

Regrettably, its not a Welsh Dragon on Cardiff’s badge, its a Chinese dragon
