Isn't the company that makes Blackberry called Research in Motion (RIM)? Or do they have a subsidiary company which is named Blackberry?

The components come from other European countries but the final assembly is done in Toulouse, France.

Airbus is a European company, not French, it is legally a European Society (SE). Of course they have to make the final assembly in one country, but it is a mistake consider it a French company since it is not. The company also has 4 different HQ: Leiden, Netherlands (Headquarters); Toulouse, France (Main Office); Madrid, Spain (International Office); and Hamburg, Germany (Operations Office).
