Hah, I live in Carpathian Basin, but I never know about that name. In Serbia we call it just Pannonian Basin.

The question about the cargo cults could include just about every island chain in the quadrilateral formed by Indochina, Australia, Chile and California. Maybe a rewording or replacement would be in order?

While not disputing the title "Hermit Kingdom", it is a bit stupid. Kim Jong Un, like his father and grandfather, is revered as a god by "his" people, but not a king.

originally the term was hermit nation and applied to korea as a whole up to around 1905 as it kept itself separate. a hermit kingdom is a generic term for any such country now, and north korea is the most obvious example but as you say not actually a kingdom.
