Which actually shows more about Glasgow than someone who is mistaken with their geographical facts.

I visited Glasgow once. It seemed nice. But I guess the fact that people stab each other over tiny disagreements might explain why their life expectancy is so terrible.

Why not UAE for shortest name?

Jan 17, 2019
Because UAE stands for United Arab Emirates, which is a lot longer than China. That's why it says jetpunk names.

The PISA one is quite misleading - the "China" scores selectively include only the wealthiest areas of China, which unsurprisingly do very well on the tests. Certainly if a broader swathe of China were included, I'm highly doubtful they would rank anywhere near as high.

What does 'Most different wild species' mean? It is incredibly vague. Apart from that, it's a really good quiz.

Best student performance in math (PISA, 2015) >> Not at country-level. This is valid only for Shanghai. Quite a feat already but quite a number of countries could cherry-pick their best-performing big city to represent their country and beat China flat-out imho.

Thanks. This info must have been missing from Wikipedia before. It's actually more than just Shanghai, but yes, not everyone is tested. I added a note to this effect.

The short name for the country used on JetPunk, for the Countries of the World Quiz, or for Countries by Letter quizzes, et cetera. China's official name is the People's Republic of China, but on JetPunk the country is called simply China.
