Don't forget, there is some of Russia caught between 2 countries . Those countries may not border the mainland Russia, but still border the small part of Russia that is not connected.....
I have ALWAYS wondered to whom that little territory west of Lithuania belonged. And now I know. Kaliningrad Oblast...of course. I did miss Poland though.
Could almost miss that tiny "im" meaning "I'm". I thought you wrote "that part of Russia bordering Poland from New Zealand", I was like wtf? OLD Zealand would be closer!
20/20 with 1:46 lw=eft. To help you, Poland is one as there is a little segment of land owned by Russia right next to Poland, and borders Lithuania to. Hope you find these two answers helpful in this quiz.
Before the WW2 Norway and Russia were not borders, but Soviet union stole the part of Finland that was between Russia and Norway, so now they are borders and Finland has not access to Arctic sea anymore.
If you say in the description on the main page that "Sharing a land border with Russia hasn't been so great lately", then you could also say that "Having oil reserves hasn't been so great lately". I thought it's a quiz page, not a political one...
Countries have been getting invaded for their oil for a very long time, not just lately, and by many different nations, including Russia. Then again I guess it's been bad news to share a land border with Russia for a very long time, as well. Longer than it's been bad news to have oil, actually.
Russia does not share borders with the four small Asiatic republics: Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. And why? Because Kazakhstan sits on top of all of them like a giant hat.
Never heard of a "Red Russian War Machine" before. If you mean the Red Army of the Soviet Union established in 1917, fine, the other two things I listed still apply.
Spoiler: norway was hard. But I see I wasnt the only one. I pretty sure I want the only one that typed all the -stans Kazakhstan was the only one I was sure tha borders it. Had first forgotten Ukraine for a while. And had two brainfarts. Somewhere in the beginning I typed russia (sometimes I forget what quiz im doing...) and south korea, which obviously only borders northkorea
I was confused why there was another country. I spent like two minutes trying to figure out what it was then I finally remembered Kaliningrad (which means it was Poland).
Just look closer in google maps.
Lithuania is not part of Russia

I love Russia, please do more quizzes about this great country!
...Russia
If you're thinking of Sakhalin, the island is completely Russian these days.
Sorry guys :P
Pls, fix that!
Seems to me like the 432 km listed is the entire length of the border of Kaliningrad oblast, not just the part with Poland.
