Very interesting quiz! However, I think it should be "word" instead of "road" in the clue: The German road for street.

Double face palm. Did the entire quiz and couldn't understand why you wouldn't take Nottingham for the English City on the Trent. Despite having got most of the answers it didn't dawn on me that they all started with the letter "S" and it was an "S" themed quiz. Hard to be as switched on as me!

A lot of people probably know the word "street" in a few languages. I don't speak French but I know "rue" for example.

How about changing the language question into more geographical one? Such as "Historical region in Poland and Czech Republic" (answer: Silesia). Or "Capital of Crimea" (answer: Simferopol). Or maybe "The largest city on the Crimean Peninsula" (Sevastopol)
