"Versace" doesn't work, no matter how you put her in.

I don't remember ever seeing Fellini as a person, and it looks like I'm not alone.

These are famous italians ? The pics of some are somewhat vague, and several are obviously only famous to a small group of people. Not including me, unfortunately...

Yes, these are all extremely famous Italians, except for maybe the last one. I could also see how one wouldn't recognize Fellini. But feel free to suggest some more famous Italians that I could use instead.

Adriano Celentano, that's the name I was trying to remember :-)

There's a famous Italian called Zucchero?! Zucchero means sugar...

Don't think there's any need to change the quiz though. What's the point of calling for a quiz to only have questions that you know all the answers to?

OK 'roleybob'.... I'm going to make a quiz that nobody will know the answers for.

Ok 'Malbaby', if that is, in fact, your real name... I look forward to being frustrated by it

Just curious, eibi, as to when Romeo and Juliet had their portraits painted.

I would say that they are all well known apart from some of the actors. The only ones that I had never heard of were Monica Belluci, Roberto Benigni and the unusual looking Fabio but I don't watch a lot of film and TV and over a third of users did know them

by far, the most famous italian porn actress was Moana Pozzi.

Her name also explains why a certain disney movie had its title changed in the Italian version.

LOL, her name is Cicciolina, not Ciccolina, and yes, she's hungarian, her name is Ilona Staller. BTW, I'd be shocked if any Italian would recognize Fabio. I only know about him because he was named on some American TV show I was watching and went to look him up on Wikipedia. He's a total nobody in Italy.

Another tough selection. It's amazing how some countries have lots of famous people and other seem to have fewer. I assume the language issue means we are more likely to 'know' English speakers.

Still none the wiser on the last two, or the fourth one.

As an italian I didn't know who the last one was (I had to search the picture on Google Images given the fact that there isn't his surname); after I found out who this person is...honestly I still believe his presence here is a bit disappointing.

I don't think I would have gotten Armani if not for the fact he was standing in front of his company's logo. Though he does look like a fashion designer: old, dried up, but obviously vain, trying and failing to look young or good, but instead simply looking unnatural, and honestly in no place to be judging other people on their looks or aesthetic value.

Wow, aren't you bitter! Armani actually looked very good for decades, before really falling off a cliff recently. Anyway, your description, which I agree on, would fit any fashion designer in the world.

As usual, the only one I didn't get - and have never heard of - is the athlete.

(Once again, here's me admitting I didn't know something, and NOT blaming the world of sports for existing.)

for those of you who are wondering, the last picture is of an Italian model/actor who got famous for (among other things) being on the cover of romance novels. He's also had cameos on tons of movies and TV :-)
