Yeah, spot on QM. US sports have very little presence outside America. Those of us not born in the States have very little chance of getting any of them bar a handful of the most famous, and I do mean a handful.

Spot on Kalbahamut. It's not like I think the site should change to fit my perspective just because I think Harry Potter is drastically over-represented. I can either avoid those quizzes or become less ignorant on Harry Potter.

Out of the ten names, there were two American athletes. Considering the number of famous Joes all over the world, that is more than enough represented.

Six months later... "Spot on Kalbahamut. It's not like I think the site should change to fit my perspective just because I think Harry Potter is drastically over-represented. I can either avoid those quizzes or become less ignorant on Harry Potter." You can't possibly compare Harry Potter which is a global phenomena and a billion dollar franchise to an American sports star. Also this quiz kinda falls under the "general knowledge" category, am I really going to avoid that category because there are obscure questions about American athletes?

Wasn't Jesus's dad called Joseph? He's probably more famous than most of these.

Although now I look again it doesn't say 10 most famous people named Joe. And I don't know how you would let people guess his name - Joseph Christ?

1. Joseph was not the father of Jesus, rather he was the husband of Mary. 2. Christ is not the surname of Jesus, it is just a word derived from the Ancient Greek "Christos", which was really just a translation of the Hebrew "Moshiach", which means "Anointed" and can be transliterated into English as Messiah.

Joseph would most likely have been called Joseph of Nazareth and if Jesus of Nazareth is not acceptable, then how about Jeshua Bin Yusef (Jesus, son of Joseph). Joseph was his earthly father, so he would have carried his name.
