Nice job on Muscle Hamster. I would recommend the following:

Mad Bomber-Daryl Lamonica(I think that's how you spell it)

The Assassin- Jack Tatum (clearly a Raiders theme here)

"Muscle Hamster" may be my all-time favorite one. Right up there with baseball's "Cool Papa Bell".

For the NFL, one from yesteryear that stands out to me is "Bambi" for HOF'er Lance Alworth.

Nigerian Nightmare was also Samkon Gado. He was nicknamed after the original but still should work because he was referred to as that by all the announcers. Played for Packers and Texans as a starter; many other teams as a back-up/practice squad.

Nah, Muscle Hamster is infinitely better. Nicknames are always better when the desired image of the player named doesn't artificially influence it. Which is why all of the nicknames Deion Sanders gave himself are stupid, IMO.

Roger "The Dodger" Staubach.

You probably also have enough material to make a team nickname quiz, too. Doomsday Defense, Pride & Poise Boys, Purple People Eaters, Orange Crush, Killer Bees, Over-the-Hill Gang, Fearsome Foursome, Steel Curtain, Air Coryell, Ground Chuck, Monsters of the Midway, Hogs, etc.
