It's jalai? What does that mean? It's not jalai, it's jai alai, just like the quizmaster put in as the answer.

Can you accept "Pelota" for jai alai? When we were in Spain, it was referred to by the locals as Pelota.

Thanks to this quiz, I learned that chimpanzee is not the same as monkey. I was going to complain that monkey wasn't accepted but I looked it up and shore 'nuff. Chimpanzees are not monkeys.

Stem should be accepted IMO. Also "ape" as you ask for a type of animal and not species.

Ape should not be acceptable. Orangutans and Gorillas are also apes, but Ham was a Chimpanzee. Under your premise, mammal should be an acceptable answer. Type is a generic term, but ape encompasses too many animals to be acceptable.

As the questions asks what part of the brain, 'stem' should suffice especially as you are not requiring, nor even accepting, 'medulla'.

I wrote "stem" as the part of the brain, on the assumption that I wouldn't need to rewrite "brain". Wasn't accepted, so I tried "medulla oblongata". Not accepted either. WTF?

The shuttle was so called because it went into space, landed back on Earth (on wheels) and could be used again. So it "shuttled" back and forth to space. Neither the V2 nor the Saturn V could be described as shuttles.
