"Psychopathy" is more properly called "Sociopathy" or "Antisocial Personality Disorder"

The "excitement seeking" part of the clue makes psychopathy a better answer. But sociopathy will work now too. We'll also accept the clinical terms of Antisocial Personality Disorder / ASPD.

Lack of empathy can be one aspect of that, but destructive excitement seeking? Not really. Narcissism basically revolves around an inflated ego.

Surely psychopathy is what it says - a pathology of the psyche and thus far more general than the question?

A shout out to Paul Anka, who wrote "My Way" for Frankie after hearing the French song, "Comme d'habitude".

And also shout out to Claude François, who first sang "Comme d'habitude" and co-wrote the lyrics with Gilles Thibaut and the music with Jacques Revaux!

Fun fact: the original version of My Way is in French, and was sung by Claude François! It has the same music, but the lyrics are about that sad feeling when you know a romance is over but nobody can quite take the step of breaking it off yet. My Way is obviously iconic, but "Comme d'habitude" is also great! You should listen to it if you haven't yet!

Trivia: Many people don't know the "Mississippi Delta" isn't a river delta in any way and it is 100s of miles from the mouth of the river, which is one of the most striking river deltas on a world map. Confusingly, the actual delta must be referred to as the Mississippi River Delta lest people think you mean an ordinary section of the river far upstream.

I know the traditional Aioli is just garlic and olive oil but a version with eggs is very common in stores, not just in the US.

1. Aioli is garlic and oil, and that is where its name comes from. I have never known it to be like mayonnaise, so that was an education!

2. Psychopathy is not an official term for a personality disorder. The accepted personality disorders are: paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, avoidant, dependent and obsessive-compulsive. Arguably, several of these could fit for the clue.
