Scientologists believe what??? You've got to be kidding; I thought I'd heard it all. That makes Adam and Eve & Noah's Ark sound downright plausible. Am I missing the joke?

Only classified as a religion due to massive legal wrangling to avoid unresolved tax assessments. I read a couple of books on the history of Scientology and felt dirty whilst doing it. Creepy, manipulative, and horrible.

So...like every other religion. Scientology's real downfall is that it started too late. Other religions demand money from their followers, make them follow a bunch of arbitrary rules that don't make any sense, and otherwise encourage tribalism. Just like scientology. The main difference is that scientology was founded in the last century by a guy named Ron who drove a car, which for some reason cued everyone in to how stupid it is. But the other major religions don't exactly make sense themselves.

I don’t think it is (legally) classed as a religion in Britain. Thankfully.

Ohh and @Jmellor13, started by a guy named Ron who said ...’if you want to get rich, start a religion.’

I know that general knowledge doesn't preclude U.S.-specific questions, but having salad dressings in French, Russian and Thousand Island flavors does seem quite specific to the U.S. or at least North America. Is it? I genuinely don't know. The UK more frequently uses the term "salad cream" and although I'm not that well-travelled, I haven't seen a lot of packaged salad dressings elsewhere, let alone in these flavors.

Anyway, I'm not complaining, I'm really asking if people in other countries are familiar with these salad dressings?
