I think five of these people show up on my own couple quiz, though not always with the same +1s.

Never heard of Theodora & Justinian. Had to go to Wiki after the quiz to brush up on my history of the Roman Empire. Thanks for a good quiz!

Ricky Ricardo instead of Desi Arnaz?
+1

If the answer was Ricky Ricardo then the hint would have to be Lucy Ricardo or else Lucille McGillicuddy. Lucille Ball was the real-life actress who played Lucy Ricardo and her real-life husband was Desi Arnaz, not Ricky Ricardo the television character.

I put Ricky Ricardo at first, then I facepalmed and put Arnaz.

"Grace Kelly" would be also an appropriate answer for the clue "Prince Albert".

Given that Prince Albert was Grace Kelly's son, no. Her husband was Prince Ranier.

Isn't it King Ferdinand as well? Or was he like Napoleon, because he rarely has a title attached to his name. Just looks weird with everybody else being kings or queens and then there's "Ferdinand".

Isabella was the important one, but he was still king of Spain. Guess its because they're known as "Ferdinand and Isabella ."

He was king of Aragon in his own right as well as king consort of Castille by right of Isabella, so I'd say the honorific is warranted.

Not a clue who Desi Arnaz was. Lucille Ball's name rang a vague bell. Having Googled them, i'm not surprised I didn't know them. Good quiz though

Fifty years ago Desilu Studios made Star Trek and Mission Impossible. Of course nothing about those things leads you to know the answer, but it's a measure of how Lucy's part in television history reaches the culture of the 21st Century.

In US TV history, perhaps. She wasn't such a cultural icon in other parts of the world, so excuse us for not all knowing a lot about Lucille Ball. *sigh*

I think 'Fernando' should be accepted for Ferdinand. It's not just his name in Spanish but also frequently used in English.

Thought of Jennifer Lopez at first too, but then noticed the spelling "Marc Antony", not "Marc Anthony", and correctly chose Cleopatra.

Just realized that is Cleopatra was the given clue, then the Quizmaster would have to decide if Julius Caesar or Marc Anthony was more important.
