Surprised that I got all of them, but the Athens question was featured on the Nat Geo Quiz today. That's the one I would have missed.

I really like these history quizzes on states and countries. I always learn something new. (And occasionally I even remember the new things I learned.)

On a lark I tried Gone With Wind and found that you do in fact need "the".

Interesting that Coke is actually the answer for the first two questions.

The KKK was originally founded in 1865 in Tennessee. The second Klan was refounded in 1915 in Georgia. Refounded would probably be the more accurate term

Not that fun fact: I think the term “civilized” is here because the answer was one of the so-called Five Civilized Tribes, but civilized and uncivilized are generally being phased out where I’m from. It’s due to the implied superiority of Europeans and such.

Ah, that makes sense now that you explained it. I have to admit I was a little taken aback by the quiz describing them as such. "Civilized?! What are you implying about the other native tribes?!"

"Muscogee" or "Creek" should also be acceptable answers for the penultimate question. They certainly lived in northern Georgia, and that was before being systemically pushed out and eventually forcibly removed to Oklahoma. Slightly changing the wording of the question could also make it more specific to the Cherokee if you want; maybe mention the Treaty of New Echota or something like that.

Civilized should be in air quotes or perhaps use a different word like westernized or adopted western conventions.
