Only 3 protestors were killed at Kent State in 1970. Sandra Scheuer wasn't protesting. She was walking between classes when she was struck by a bullet.

Uncle Tom's Cabin was written in Brunswick, Maine while Harriet Beecher Stowe's husband, famed preacher and abolitionist Calvin Stowe, was on staff at Bowdoin College. The Stowe House still stands there.

It was an inn and German restaurant until a few years ago. The college allows the public in for free including teas in her writing room.

Taft was the only president to also serve as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Bit sad that he's only remembered for his weight.
