He was a character played by Marlon Brando in the Tennessee Williams play (and film), "A Streetcar Named Desire". It's one of the classics.

I never read it in school, but I was familiar with it from doing tech work for the play as a younger person, and also thanks to an episode of the Simpsons :)

I've never seen any of the Terminator movies, but for some reason I know that it's Connor, not Conner.
