Linguistically speaking, jive is not a dialect. You'd be better off making the clue slang or argot.

The old lady doesn't say I speak argot. She says "I speak jive". If you didn't see the movie you won't get it.

That's not what is meant; what is suggested is changing the clue to argot or slang instead of dialect, not instead of jive

its pretty safe to say that i would never get "Jigglypuff" in this lifetime.

When the answers popped up I thought JigglyPuff was under Biblical temptress. I knew I hadn't answered that.

Disappointing only 22% got the Grapes of Wrath one. It should be obligatory reading for all 13 year olds. They would never whinge about not having stuff ever again.

my experience was similar. I have been reading about kraken quite a lot today (and leviathan and all sort of semi mythological sea creatures) So my mind spun for a minute haha.

Kraken starting j?? hmm urr.. jörmungandr (though I did n't come to that word)

Similar. I scrolled through the options in my head: octopus, squid, cuttlefish, kraken... Was able to get the right answer when I came back to it, though.

Not sure whether the clue for Jezebel quite fits; she was more of a tyrant (tyranness?) than a temptress.
+4
Level 88
Dec 22, 2021
Agreed. The temptress was Delilah. Jez was the queen who killed all the prophets.

Bathsheba wasn't a temptress either. Woman was minding her own business when summoned by the king.

For what, "Johnson"? I wouldn't think so, considering they're two different names.

Not sure about Joffrey, he is certainly the most hated in-universe. Among fans however, opinions are split, especially about Danaerys who was an insufferable Mary Sue in comparison to more nuanced characters such as Cersei and Theon. Many also hated Euron because he was such a flat boring charatcer.

Wow, I kept typing "Jones" over and over, with capital and lowercase letters, just to make sure I was spelling it right. Can't believe Jones is less common than Johnson! I could've sworn the top three were Smith, Jones, and Brown.
