Japan for 2 answers? I guess that's not against the rules, but I wasn't expecting it, and never tried that for the second.

Second this; tried all the other ones in south/east Asia. I guess these have a (good) reputation for country diversity!

Especially since there aren't really any others from that part of the world- no China, Koreas, Indochina east of India, etc.

Agree. Perhaps add a disclaimer to say some answers may be used twice?

No, keep quizzes challenging!

Quizzes that use the same answer more than once typically indicate such. It would be good to keep that consistent.

this is a yellow box quiz, which in my experience, often means the same or similar answers, to avoid type-on,( which i hate because of those hanging s etc)

Yep, kept trying Cambodia for this one, thinking i was typing incorrectly, because of the silver pagoda in Phnom Penh.

Agreed. Seems to be the unwritten rule that answers aren't used twice, at least on most Jetpunk quizzes. Once a country has been used, I never try it again, unless there is a disclaimer.

I guess that's true, but more people have heard of the one in Iceland. I've never heard of the one in Malta

Maybe. I had heard of the one in Malta, but not of the one in Iceland.

Me too. I'd heard of the one in Malta but not Iceland. I think that Malta should be accepted.

I've only ever heard of the one with Brooke Shields and Milla Jovovich swimming naked in it. That one didn't look like it was in Iceland.

You need a standard disclaimer to guess the most famous one. Besides the Blue Lagoon at Comino island, Mt Olympus is also the highest in Cyprus.

Sugarloaf Mountain, the ski resort in Maine, USA makes up nearly the entire first page of Google results.

But a ski resort is not a landmark

Not just a ski resort though, also the 3rd highest mountain in Maine.

There's a Sugarloaf Mountain in Greer's Ferry Lake at Heber Springs, AR, too. But I got the correct answer on first try.

please accept Mars for Mt Olympus. maybe is not a country as we usually refer to but it is too big to oversight it

Yeah, but astronomers named the Martian mountain Olympus Mons. We use that Latin name in English, which conveniently avoids confusion with the terrestrial Mt. Olympus.

I would think "Sugarloaf Mountain" would make most people think of Brazil rather than Wales, Ireland, Maine, or NSW just as "London" would make people think of England rather than a town in Kentucky.

USA works for United States of America, UK for the United Kingdom; in other quizzes, DRC is good for Democratic Republic of Congo and UAE for United Arab Emirates etc. Yet NZ never works for New Zealand; surely it should!

A lot of people are saying that the quiz is unfair because some things in different countries have the same name (e.g. Sugarloaf Mountain is a place in Brazil, Wales, Ireland, and Maine) But the ones used for this quiz are by far the most famous in the world. Sure, if you happen to live right near one of the lesser known Sugarloaf Mountains, then that will be the first one that occurs to you, but if you live pretty much anywhere else, that is not the case. Pretty much every name in the world is used multiple times, so it doesn't make sense to criticize this. And especially don't downvote the quiz because of it! Your personal experiences don't matter here, it's about the general consensus.

This quiz is called "Landmarks of Countries #3," and yet Palestine is not a country.
