Only ~220 takes of this quiz as I write this. But I am surprised more people know the capital of Armenia than Encino, Irvine or the Griffith Observatory. JetPunkers are a strange breed.
Nothing strange. I also got only Yerevan, Hollywood, Orange County and Anaheim and that's a lot considering me an Indian. You are rather strange that you expect Europeans and Asians of different races to know about Los Angeles. In my country I'm sure less than 15% of our total population have even heard of LoS Angeles.
Clearly an American with a very restricted world view. How on earth are people who don’t live in the USA or have ever visited LA supposed to know those?
I lived in the white and black part of Koreatown in the 1970s and the Latino and South Asian part of Koreatown in the 1980s--but not the Korean part of Koreatown, because there was no such neighborhood. Koreatown was then and is now majority Latino, not Korean, and acquired its name largely because of the Korean businesses along Olympic and 8th Street. Which is not to say that it does not have a Korean identity, which it does, since many of the Latino residents do not have the vote. You can leave the clue and answer the way they were, but it deserves a qualification.
I'm actually really surprised that Xzibit is the second-least-gotten answer, I feel like he was sort of an icon of the 2000s, especially with him being on Extreme Makeover Home Edition
Surely you could've come up with a real Y clue that was actually relevant to LA. How about "One of the primary colors of the Rams, Chargers, and Lakers"?
Great Quiz anyway 👌
