I feel like there are more basketball quizzes.. I know zero about basketball, baseball, NFL anyway so it doesn't make any difference to me. I just type the usual names (Johnson, Jordan, Bird, Berra, Rodriguez, Marino, Smith etc) and walk away content, with my single point.

QM has made a series of sports quizzes in the last few days. Seems pretty balanced though across the US sports (maybe not enough hockey :-).

Well it is definitely one of the more staistics-heavy sports. So for someone who runs a quiz website with statistics all over the place, it makes sense.

Cricket... there is an excellent statistical sport. If I could be bothered and I thought that more than the those from England and India would attempt it; I would create a quiz based on batting averages and strike rates.

Surprised A-Rod earned only $400 million (I know..."only"). His second contract was worth $275 million and his first was worth $252 million...but I guess, with opting out of the first one after seven years, maybe the math works out. Still, I'd think he cleared well over $400 million between those two contracts and performance bonuses. But then again...I'm certainly not going to take the time to figure it out.
