Philadelphia is an old Colonial city wedged in the middle of the Northeast Megalopolis. Pittsburgh is a hill steel town that uses coal.

I think they're in Raleigh, North Carolina or Charlotte. Probably Raleigh, the state capital.

University of Miami (Florida) are the Hurricanes, or Canes for short. So in a way you were right, just not in a way that Jetpunk will be considering any time soon :P

While you are correct about "Wild" being singular, you're wrong about the New Jersey "Devil." It's DEVILS!

Pretty sure its the New Jersey DevilS not the New Jersey Devil
Level 79
Jun 26, 2017
Yep. The nickname was inspired by the legendary/fictional New Jersey Devil from the Pine Barrens, but the team nickname was definitely pluralized.

For me the hardest part was remembering where all the cities are in western Canada but I'm bad at geography and from America so I guess I didn't need to know that until today

I missclicked on the team names for the senators and leafs.. I hate that name btw as a botanist, leafs is not a word, leaves is the plural of leaf.

How is Miss Click anyway?

Its the name of a team so its a proper noun which is a name so it doesn't have to be grammatically correct.

Hardest part for me was I've never heard of 4 of those teams. Confession. I grew up in Arizona where the snow sticks more than 24 hours about once every 10 years.

And yet Bettman will not allow that team to go somewhere where people actually want it. (And yet he was thrilled to allow the original Winnipeg Jets to move there in '96.) Winnipeg beat Arizona last night again - the Jets 1.0 have never again won in Winnipeg.
