It's called the Rio Grande in the US, Rio Bravo in Mexico. Both are accepted.

Since this is an English language quiz, the answers are in English, so the name of the river in English is Rio Grande. Though I thought Eliotbliss was referring to the fact that the Rio Grande is not "in" Mexico - it borders Mexico - and is 50% in Mexico. But for 4 years from 1964 to 1968 a small section of the Rio Grande was "in" Mexico... https://www.npr.org/2014/09/25/350885341/50-years-ago-a-fluid-border-made-the-u-s-1-square-mile-smaller

Otherwise the border between Mexico and the US is defined by the river, even as it shifts over time.

Tequila is a specific type of mezcal. The best answer to the question is mezcal. If the question was more specific, like a type of mezcal or liquor made only from blue agave, then the answer would be tequila.

I know I'm late for the party, but the reality is that drugs represent less tan 0.05% of total trade with the US. Trade with the USA represents 80% of total trade, that means that Drugs are dwarfed by legal trade by a huge margin.

Soccer wasn't coined in the US. Something to do with association of something. They (Brits, I think) took the "soc" from association and called it soccer. Or something along those lines.

It's not the more proper answer because that translates to "Day of the Afternoon." The proper Spanish answer, which the quiz accepts, is "Dia de Los Muertos," or "Dia de Muertos."

It accepts "Dia de Los Muertos," which is the translation people use in English-speaking countries, but I agree it should accept "Dia de Muertos," which is what Mexicans actually call it.

All of these country quizzes are obviously written by an American guy who knows more about these countries than the average American but still does not know that much. The most obvious example to me is the Chile question saying Chile's flag looks like Texas's flag. You can do better

But it does look like the Texas flag. And you're allowed to write your own quizzes. This is a free website with minimal ads, and the quizmaster is not omniscient. You can only ask so much of one person who lets you use his stuff for free.
