Oh boy, does that statement hurt all the more right now - April, 2020.

Yeah, I have thought about a million times how much more tolerable this all would be if I had baseball to watch.

oh it hurts even more now

The only reason Sid Bream slid home safely in the 9th inning of the 1992 NLCS to beat the Pirates is because after being waved closer to home by center-fielder and teammate, Andy Van Slyke, Pirates left-fielder, Barry Bonds, flipped Van Slyke the bird and stayed deep.

The Pirates last sniff of a World Series.

That's nothing. The New York Giants lost an NL-pennant-deciding game to the Cubs in 1908 because Cy Seymour wouldn't go back to deep centerfield on the instruction of Christy Mathewson.

Could you please accept "lockout" for player's strike?

But they're different... In a strike, the players refuse to play. In a lockout, the owners refuse to let the players play.

It's clear to see I'm only 15 by how many I got right, 2010s were easy and then it falls apart.

Ohtani may have led MLB in home runs at some points during the season, but he didn't finish up on top.

The clue for Bonds should be changed if you're not going to call out accusations on the other players in the "steroid era".

The other steroid guys aren't relevant. None of them hit 73 bombs in a year. There's no reason to call them out.

"Player who hit 70 home runs - shattering Roger Maris's record"

No reason to call this out?

Or maybe you could make your own quiz, then you can phrase the questions however you like. I thought the question was appropriate & funny. Bonds deserves every last drop of derision that comes his way.

If you ever met Barry Bonds in public, he would treat you like dog doo on the bottom of his shoe. He's one of the biggest all-around jerks to ever have played the game.

"exchangefor" = exchange for.

Also, no mention of Mark McGwire being steroidal?
