I have seen every Austin Powers movie a million times and the Austin Powers quote is completely alien to me. Which movie is it from??

The first one. Dr. Evil is talking about his childhood when he's at group therapy with his son. When he talks about freshly shorn scrotum.

I only recently learned that quote was delivered in front of a mirror and not to an actual person. I am now mystified as to why it became classic.

Watch Taxi Driver and you'll find out. Total but job. John Hinckley copycatted the character and shot Reagan to impress Jodie Foster.

I immediately recognised the Res Dogs line, yet I couldn't remember the name 'Braveheart'. Argh!!

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul." How was this not included somewhere!

One of the best delivered putdowns in a movie. The opposite of Jim Carville's retreat in a debate in Old School.

Uhm. Is it just me or has the point system gotten really easy? I got 14/19, beats or equals 50% of the test takers and 5/5 points. Shouldn't that be a 4 at the most? Not even three quarters of the questions right and I get full points?

You probably have taken it before and gotten a better (near perfect) score.

Ah before it was reset? That's possible. But shouldn't the score be reset then too or has that changed?

You probably took the quiz immediately after it was reset. You can read about the point system here. You get 5 points by getting 100% correct or scoring in the 95th percentile.

Traditionally, I am not one to post "You should have included..." comments. But I honestly feel no list of movie monologues is complete without Robert Shaw's brilliant "We delivered the bomb" speech from Jaws.

Maybe a few more from the feminine side? How about, "We'll sell t-shirts sayin', 'I slapped Ouiser Boudreaux'. Hit her!" Or, "You know I love you more'n my luggage." (Steel Magnolias) Or, "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife." (Pride and Prejudice) Or, "Old man, if you give those dogs another piece of my food I'm gonna kick you 'til you're dead." (Moonstruck) Or, "I'll have what she's having." (When Harry Met Sally)
