Had to laugh at myself just now -- drew a blank on "The Taekwondo Child" and stopped to think. I looked up at the TV and realized, "Hey, that's what I'm watching right now!" Probably wouldn't have gotten it otherwise...

Taekwondo is not a synonym for karate. Yes, people will get the hint, but it's like saying an orange is a synonym for an apple. It's wrong.

Had to look up Dryasdust. It sounded like something to do with dryads or at least had some sort of fantasy feel to. Unfortunately, it was dry-as-dust... man.... disappointed..

And also @someone, do you mean walking encyclopedia? (again, I didnt spot it first and though, hm what is waling...) or did you mean wailing?

This quiz was good but I am not happy about the comparison of TKD and Karate; they are pretty different: TKD is Korean and karate is not, different influences entirely. Maybe 'Martial art child' would be better.

They are different for sure and not synonyms at all. However, I do think they're both influenced by Chinese martial arts.

You just need to read the note that indicates not all synonyms are exact. Did you really not even try Karate Kid?

Sad how few people know Cathay is a long-standing name for China.

Maybe Kurt Russell's and Keye Luke's Large Problem in Small Cathay has been seen by everyone who's ever owned a TV at this point and would've clicked better.
