Without further specifications, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Misérables could also refer to French films :).

Between Amelie and La Vie en Rose, which do you consider to be NOT a French film?

I'm confused why it accepted just the word Phantom for Phantom of the Opera. just saying phantom does not show that the person knows the film title, just a portion of it.

You're new here, aren't you?

He's right, because you know whenever anybody refers to "Phantom" the first thing anyone thinks of is Billy Zane in purple tights.

A lot of people who know the musical will refer to it as just "Phantom" to save breath. Like "Joseph" or "Les Mis".

No Midnight in Paris? I loved that movie - romantic comedy, supernatural fantasy - what's not to love? (Well, maybe Owen Wilson, but he even won me over, too.)

Disappointed "La Vie en Rose" wasn't included - it's relatively recent (2007), one of the most successful French language films ever released in the US, and the lead actress won the Oscar for her role as Edith Piaf!

I got 15 / 18 and was happy until I saw those I missed. Especially because I tried one of the titles and apparently misspelled it so bad that it wasn't accepted.

The clue for the Edith Piaf film is misleading. Many people would argue that 'Je ne regrette rien' is her most famous song

Also, it's called 'La Môme' in French, so maybe that could be accepted even though it isn't technically one of her songs?

Not even a single Audrey Hepburn movie?

Charade, Sabrina, Funny Face, Love in the Afternoon, How to Steal a Million, Paris When It Sizzles... As a French myself I can say that she is probably the foreign actress who best symbolises Paris.
