I think because QM likes the front page quizzes to be easy enough that the average person could potentially ace them. It was pretty hard to do that on the complete filmography quizzes with no hints, so he adopted this format instead.

I think the 'Cowards' in High Plains Drifter were the gunfighters, gangs with guns are not brave, they just take advantage of unarmed, law abiding citizens.

Making a deal with the devil because you can't fight for yourself is pretty cowardly, in my opinion.

The Gauntlet: Driving a bus 5 miles an hour through hundreds of shoulder to shoulder cops unloading every gun they can find, turning through city streets, drive said bus up the courthouse steps and step out unscathed and suddenly all interest in shooting you vanishes for no reason whatsoever. Bonus: the actress you're transporting in the bus is your real life girlfriend. True love fantasy.

Best scene in movie history, bar none.

Paint Your Wagon is the only musical I've ever liked it even tolerated. Lee Marvin is funny as hell.

I am a sucker for any Clint Eastwood movie not called "Firefox", but I actually remember "Paint Your Wagon" more for Lee Marvin singing "I Was Born Under a Wanderin' Star" and Harve Presnell singing "They Call the Wind Mariah".

Presnell (the ill-fated father in "Fargo") was amazing because he was just a phenomenal singer. Marvin was amazing because he WASN'T a singer...but did great with that song. Loved 'em both.
