Man...I forgot Oakley played for the Bulls before being a perennial jerkwad in New York.

Oakley a jerkwad? Maybe so, but man that dude was hardcore tough and had that perma-scowl to go with it.

How... how can anyone forget about the greatness of Kevin McHale as a player. At the time, he was all you can dram for a power forward. Smooth and deadly on offense, hard and clever on defense.

Yes, we still remember that clothesline he used to knock down Kurt Rambis. He got a raw deal in Houston.

I thought that Stockton/Malone would have been on here

Thought they would be on here as well. But Stockton and Malone were known for the pick and roll, not so much for scoring. Stockton probably averaged around 10-15 per game, while Malone had around 25-30.

Me, too. Apparently their best year was 89-90 when they combined for 48.2 points per game.

this can't be all time can it? what about Mullin/Richmond? Robertson/Alcindor? Baylor/West? Chamberlain/West? Monroe/Frazier? not sure if those combos did it but seems odd there wouldn't be any before '87.

I think 1986/87 is just the starting season chosen for the quiz (last 30 years?), not that there weren't any before that.

Got them all, I slept on Lillard and McCollum until the end before I finally remembered. They're an interesting duo because they're so balanced in terms of scoring averages.
