I don't know how the original question was worded, but in reality, the Hudson is largely a tidal river- it reverses flow temporarily as far up as Troy, just north of Albany. Not that this changes what you'd consider the source vs. outflow.

A bodega can be considered a deli I suppose, except that it also sells canned goods, paper towels, detergent, toilet tissue, personal hygiene items and other non-perishable whereas a deli usually only sells sandwiches and drinks.
New Yorkers couldn't care less about the difference between Manhattan and New England clam chowders. We New Englanders are obsessed with it. The Red Sox-Yankees rivalry has poisoined our minds.
